"You have heard the law that says, 'Love your neighbor' and hate your

But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you! In that way, you will be acting as true children

Love Your Enemies
"You're familiar with the old written law, 'Love your friend,' and its
unwritten companion, 'Hate your enemy.'
I'm challenging that. I'm telling you to love your enemies. Let them bring
out the best in you, not the worst. When someone gives you a hard time, respond with the energies of prayer, for then you
are working out of your true selves, your God-created selves. This is what God does. He gives his best - the sun to warm and
the rain to nourish - to everyone, regardless: the good and bad, the nice and nasty. If all you do is love the lovable, do
you expect a bonus? Anybody can do that. If you simply say hello to those who greet you, do you expect a medal? Any run-of-the-mill
sinner does that.
"In a word, what I'm saying is, Grow up. You're kingdom subjects. Now live like it. Live out your
God-created identity. Live generously and graciously toward others, the way God lives toward you."

Meditation 5/6 - 5/12: Rms 15:7-13 KJV
May you be filled with joy
Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received
us to the glory of God.
Now I say that Jesus Christ was a minister of the circumcision for the truth of God, to confirm
the promises made unto the fathers:
And that the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy; as it is written, For this
cause I will confess to thee among the Gentiles, and sing unto thy name.
And again he saith, Rejoice, ye Gentiles,
with his people.
And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and laud him, all ye people.
And again, Esaias
saith, There shall be a root of Jesse, and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him shall the Gentiles trust.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of
the Holy Ghost.

The Lost Sheep
And he spake this parable unto them, saying,
What man of
you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, doth not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that

Comfort for God's People
Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God.
Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her,
that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned: for she hath received of the LORD's hand double

Meditation
3/25-3/31: Rms 15:1-6 MSG
Living with others in mind
Those of us who are strong and able in the faith need to step in and lend a hand to those who falter, and not just
do what is most convenient for us. Strength is for service, not status. Each one of us needs to look after the good of the
people around us, asking ourselves, "How can I help?"
That's exactly what Jesus did. He didn't make it easy for himself
by avoiding people's troubles, but waded right in and helped out. "I took on the troubles of the troubled," is the way Scripture
puts it. Even if it was written in Scripture long ago, you can be sure it's written for us. God wants the combination of his
steady, constant calling and warm, personal counsel in Scripture to come to characterize us, keeping us alert for whatever
he will do next. May our dependably steady and warmly personal God develop maturity in you so that you get along with each
other as well as Jesus gets along with us all. Then we'll be a choir - not our voices only, but our very lives singing in
harmony in a stunning anthem to the God and Father of our Master Jesus!

We who are strong have an obligation to bear with the failings of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let each

Live in Christ!
You
have accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord. Now keep on following him.
Plant your roots in Christ and let him be the
foundation for your life. Be strong in your faith, just as you were taught. And be grateful.
Don't let anyone fool
you by using senseless arguments. These arguments may sound wise, but they are only human teachings. They come from the powers
of this world [a] and not from Christ.
God lives fully in Christ.
And you are fully grown because you belong
to Christ, who is over every power and authority.
Christ has also taken away your selfish desires, just as circumcision
removes flesh from the body.
And when you were baptized, it was the same as being buried with Christ. Then you were
raised to life because you had faith in the power of God, who raised Christ from death.

Don't let anyone capture you with empty philosophies and high-sounding nonsense that come from human
thinking and from the spiritual powers of this world, rather than from Christ. For in Christ lives all the fullness of God
in a human body. So you also are complete through your union with Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority.
When you came to Christ, you were - circumcised, - but not by a physical procedure. Christ performed a spiritual circumcision
- the cutting away of your sinful nature. For you were buried with Christ when you were baptized. And with him you were raised
to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead.

Meditation
3/18-3/24: Col 2:6-12 MSG
Live in Christ!
My
counsel for you is simple and straightforward: Just go ahead with what you've been given. You received Christ Jesus, the Master;
now live him. You're deeply rooted in him. You're well constructed upon him. You know your way around the faith. Now do what
you've been taught. School's out; quit studying the subject and start living it! And let your living spill over into thanksgiving.
Watch out for people who try to dazzle you with big words and intellectual double-talk. They want to drag you off
into endless arguments that never amount to anything. They spread their ideas through the empty traditions of human beings
and the empty superstitions of spirit beings. But that's not the way of Christ. Everything of God gets expressed in him, so
you can see and hear him clearly. You don't need a telescope, a microscope, or a horoscope to realize the fullness of Christ,
and the emptiness of the universe without him. When you come to him, that fullness comes together for you, too. His power
extends over everything.
Entering into this fullness is not something you figure out or achieve. It's not a matter
of being circumcised or keeping a long list of laws. No, you're already in - insiders - not through some secretive initiation
rite but rather through what Christ has already gone through for you, destroying the power of sin. If it's an initiation ritual
you're after, you've already been through it by submitting to baptism. Going under the water was a burial of your old life;
coming up out of it was a resurrection, God raising you from the dead as he did Christ.

outsiders; make the most of every opportunity. Let your conversation be always full of grace, seasoned with salt, so that
you may know how to answer everyone.

Meditation
3/18-3/24: Col 2:6-12 KJV
Live in Christ!
As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:
Rooted and built up in him, and stablished
in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy
and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
For in him dwelleth
all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:
In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the
flesh by the circumcision of Christ:
Buried with him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith
of the operation of God, who hath raised him from the dead.
Colossians 2:6-12 KJV

In fact, though by this time you
ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God's word all over again. You need milk, not
solid food! Anyone who lives on milk, being still an infant, is not acquainted with the teaching about righteousness. But
solid food is for the mature, who by constant use have trained themselves to distinguish good from evil.

Meditation
3/4 - 3/10: 1 Cor 1:18-25 KJV
God's Wisdom
For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of
God.
For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the
prudent.
Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the
wisdom of this world?
For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the
foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:
But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
But unto
them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Because the foolishness
of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
1 Cor 1:18-25 KJV
